High silicon silicon manganese alloy

High silicon silicon manganese alloy is a kind of semi-finished product, which is the raw material for the production of metallic manganese by electrosilicothermal method. High silicon manganese silicon alloy smelting is carried out in the ore furnace, and compared with commercial manganese silicon alloy, it contains high silicon, impurities iron, carbon, phosphorus and other low content. In terms of raw material requirements for temperature control, it is higher than that of ordinary manganese silicon alloys.

 

The smelting principle of high silicon manganese silicon alloy is the same as that of manganese silicon alloy. It can be seen from the thermodynamic conditions of the formation of manganese silicon alloy that the higher the silicon content, the higher the required reduction reaction temperature, so the production of high silicon manganese silicon alloy should maintain a higher furnace temperature than the production of ordinary manganese silicon alloy. 


Under the conditions of the required temperature, in order to promote the reduction of silicon and manganese, there should be a larger reaction area and slag with good chemical and physical properties, which can be regarded as the kinetic conditions required for the smelting of high-silicon manganese-silicon alloy. It can be seen that the standard raw materials, higher furnace temperature, good chemical and physical properties of the slag, a large reaction area, are the necessary conditions to ensure that the high silicon manganese silicon alloy smelting furnace condition.
