Nitride Silicon Manganese is mainly composed of Si3N4 and Mn5N2, accompanied by non nitrided ferrosilicon. The mixture of non nitrided silicon manganese and a small amount of other components is generally pressed into a spherical shape before sintering in the current process, and the finished product is iron red after sintering.
High quality shaped and unshaped refractory materials.
In the alloying production of high-strength low alloy steels, steel bars, and stainless steels, it is used in conjunction with FeV or VN to promote the absorption of nitrogen in the molten steel through manganese, increasing the necessary nitrogen content in the steel. At the same time, if combined with microalloyed elements, it can play a greater role in refining the grain. Silicon manganese nitride is mainly used as a nitrogen increaser for oriented silicon steel, high-strength steel (such as HRB400), and also as a nitrogen increaser for casting.
